Today I find so many very interesting pictures on SeaDoc Photography  owned by Steven M. Genkins, M.D. (“Seadoc”),  a diagnostic radiologist residing in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I will jump to Papua and West Papua section of his picture collections. Just one example from Cenderawasih Bay album:

A whale shark just right below fisherman traditional boat, amazing !

Another picture from Raja Ampat Top Side album:

A classroom of Indonesian Papuan, this human interest picture is like a feature story that tells us a group of students with bright eyes and perhaps bright future.

From Raja Ampat Underwater album we can see the detail of soft coral crab, so beautiful:

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Where is the enlightened leader in our community?

Wise person in our own perspective and thought will only lead us to something that we don’t even understand…the more we try to find the wise person there will be so many question starting with why. We can find all those teacher between pages of holy bible or philosophic books, but we need wise person among us, we need to transform each of us to be wiser.

The problem in our community in Papua and West Papua relates to the lack of wisdom within our heart and soul. Too many individual interests which blackened our hope for a better future. We never talk to each other sincerely, always cautious and suspicious because of our own self interest.

It is time for us to raise and speak bravely about our future by peaceful means. We will not force our ideas of future and at the same time will not accept any force to keep our mouth shut. We need to learn about the real meaning of dialog.
